Cade did his undergraduate training at the University of Georgia majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biochemistry. His undergraduate research project focused on fatty acylation of Src family kinases to understand how membrane trafficking and extracellular vesicle formation affects the activity of these proteins. In the Damo Lab, his project focuses on the impact of peripheral tolerance towards self-antigens expressed by tumor cells on overall immune responses against the tumor.
